style: Chinese Medicine, vinyasa
duration: 60 min
The swelling earth teems with life and bids farewell to cold and dark. Nature moves energy from deep inside earth upwards and outwards. Trees bud, flowers sprout, and animals mate as Spring unfolds. It is time for planting, and growth.
Wake up your side body and add twists to energise the system. Twists wring tension from the body. The twisting action works muscles and releasing the twists stimulte the flow of blood and nutrients into the area. Twists energise or conversely, can calm. They give us an alternate view, and help to stay present, keeping inner vision clear. This can help to stay present and focused throughout life’s constant changes. It will invigorate the back and side body, waking up the Liver and Kidney, to support Kidney Qi.
What do you want to plant now?
What crops in your garden, and what thoughts in your mind? Nurture the seeds of your thoughts, and grow kindness and compassion. Water these seeds, and watch them bloom.
