The Lung Meridian is a yin meridian and controls breath and energy. It is paired with the Large Intestine Meridian.
This meridian begins in the solar plexus region and descends to meet the large intestine. Winding past the stomach, it crosses diaphragm, divides, and enters the lungs. It then re-unites, passes up the middle of throat and divides again, surfacing in the hollow region near front of shoulder. From here it passes over the shoulder and down front of arm along the outer border of biceps. It continues to the wrist above the base of thumb, crossing to finish at the corner of the thumbnail.
