Prevention Yoga – Knees : Bowlegged and Knock Knees

The term for bowlegs is "genu varum" and the term for knock knees is "genu valgum"

In orthopedics, a varus deformity is a term for the inward angulation of a bone or joint. The opposite of varus is called valgus.
The terms varus and valgus refer to the direction that the distal segment of the joint points. In valgus of the knee, the leg below the knee is outward, in a knock-kneed appearance, while a varus knee creates a bowlegged appearance, with the leg inward. These variances in adults can cause pain in ankles, knees and hip.
